BlackBerry KEY2 is the company’s latest flagship smartphone launched. The smartphone launched in the month of July 2018 in India. The smartphone runs on Android’s latest version Oreo 8.1.
BlackBerry KEY 2 comes with 6G RAM + 64GB expandable up to 256GB SDcard. For photography, there are dual cameras at the back — 12MP + 12MP with 2x optical Zoom. It is the company’s first smartphone to come with dual-rear cameras. On the front, there’s 8MP camera. New capture mode features like Portrait Mode and Optical Superzoom ensure that all the important moments can be captured anytime, anywhere ? even at night. BlackBerry KEY2 also introduces Speed Key, a universal shortcut key that makes it possible to instantly access apps, contacts and functions that are used the most by a user from anywhere on the device.
The smartphone runs on Qualcomm SDM 660, Kryo 260 Octa-Core processor clocked at 2.2 GHz x 4 + 1.8GHz x 4, 64-bit. BlackBerry KEY2 has 44.5-inch Full-HD IPS LCD display with 1620 x 1080 resolution, 3:2 aspect ratio and 433 PPI. The battery capacity is 3500 mAh with Quick Charge 3.0 technology. For connectivity buyers will get Bluetooth 5.0 LE, Type-C USB 3.0, USB OTG and NFC. Sensors in the smartphone include accelerometer, magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity and ambient light.The phone claims to offer the best security and privacy enhancement features as well as accurate and comfortable typing on an intelligent keyboard. BlackBerry KEY2 is housed in a sturdy and sleek aluminum frame with a soft textured back for extra grip and comfort. The touch display sports impact and scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass 3 offering the best in resilience and durability. The keyboard has been shaped to make typing effortless, and includes in-keyboard fingerprint sensor with updated mechanics for an improved tactile response and convenient user experience.
